OBSESSED - HORNET

Together with Itay Tevel and the team at Hornet, I had the pleasure to co-direct this film and lead a small team of incredible animators to bring it to life.

The film belongs to a series of brand new films exploring the creative process; in Itay’s words “an opportunity to explore Hornet’s breadth of motion techniques that are both classic and current, showcasing our talents in innovative motion design”. It is, in essence, the distillation of Hornet’s inspirations and aspirations, a series of exploration and self-expression.

The first instalment in the series is "Systems". The first step in most motion design work is developing a system of color, type, data, and imagery. In this film, we decided to deconstruct the system and showcase all of the individual graphic elements before reconstructing it within a noisy, blurry, tactile, organic world.
